This Privacy Policy explains how personal information is handled in connection with eBuyCorner.com, an online product-research and affiliate discovery portal managed by Team YvR. It covers browsing, accounts, profiles, listings, reviews, enquiries and optional tools available on this website.

1. Contact and scope

For privacy enquiries or requests about your information, email support@ebuycorner.com. For marketing and business partnerships, email marketing@ebuycorner.com. Our public service description is “Online Portal 24×7”; it does not identify a physical office or mailing address.

This policy concerns eBuyCorner. Merchants, marketplaces, affiliate networks and other websites you visit through links operate under their own policies.

2. Information you provide

  • Accounts: name, username, email address, authentication details and account preferences. If enabled and chosen by you, social sign-in or mobile verification may provide additional information as explained by that service.
  • Profiles, listings and reviews: descriptions, business details, links, images, ratings and content you submit. Information intended for public display may become visible after moderation.
  • Enquiries: your name, email, message and optional phone, company, website and relevant page URL. The contact form emails this information to the appropriate team mailbox; the form module does not create a separate enquiries database or automatically subscribe you to marketing.
  • Price watches: the product, target amount and selected alert preferences when you use an enabled watch feature. Availability of observations and delivery depends on the configured services.

Please provide only information needed for the relevant task. Do not send passwords, OTPs, payment card details, identity documents or sensitive personal information in an ordinary enquiry.

3. Technical information and local storage

Hosting, security and analytics services can process information such as IP address, browser type, device information, requested pages, timestamps and error or security logs. WordPress uses cookies for authentication and related preferences. Comparison selections and tool preferences can be held in your browser’s local storage. Clearing browser storage may remove those selections.

The contact module uses a keyed, hashed network identifier and temporary counters for rate limiting. The temporary counters are set to expire after one hour; hosting and mail systems have separate records and retention practices.

4. How information is used

Information is used to operate the portal, authenticate users, respond to enquiries, moderate submissions, maintain profiles and listings, deliver requested alerts when enabled, correct errors, protect the service from abuse and understand site performance. Optional marketing communications require a separate appropriate subscription or permission; the contact-form checkbox only covers responding to that enquiry.

5. Affiliate links, merchants and advertisements

eBuyCorner may earn a commission when you follow a referral link or complete an eligible action with a merchant. Affiliate links can contain a publisher or campaign identifier. Merchants and networks may use cookies or similar technology to attribute referrals under their own notices. We do not receive your full merchant payment-card information simply because you follow an affiliate link.

Sponsored or featured placements should be disclosed. Paid placement does not establish that a business is independently verified or that a product is the best option for every shopper.

6. Search, analytics and optional integrations

When you request marketplace search, the search terms and necessary request context may be processed by the configured shopping-search provider, which can include SerpAPI where enabled. Do not put personal or sensitive information in product-search keywords. A Google tag is present on the website; the operator must identify the active Google measurement or advertising services and associated settings before approving this notice.

Where enabled, social sign-in is handled by the provider you choose, such as Google or Facebook, and mobile verification by the configured SMS provider. Those providers process the authentication information necessary for the requested function. These options are not necessarily available in every part of the site.

Optional AI drafting or summary tools, if enabled and requested, can send your prompt and the relevant submitted text to the configured AI provider. Review suggestions before publication and do not submit confidential information. Ordinary publication is not a guarantee of AI accuracy.

The operator should maintain an accurate provider list covering hosting, email, analytics, shopping search, social sign-in, SMS and AI actually in use, including relevant privacy links and international processing arrangements. Disabled or future integrations should not be represented as active.

7. Cookies and your choices

You can manage cookies and local storage in your browser. Blocking essential cookies may prevent sign-in or other functions. Where an applicable consent requirement exists, non-essential tracking must be handled through the implemented consent controls. This policy itself is not a cookie-consent mechanism and does not block analytics scripts.

You can stop using optional tools, change available account and watch preferences, revoke provider permissions through the relevant social account, and use an unsubscribe control where a communication includes one. You may also email support to request assistance.

8. Sharing and public content

Information can be processed by service providers needed for hosting, email delivery, security, search, authentication and other enabled functions, and by team members who need it to perform the requested service. Publicly submitted profile details, listings and approved reviews may be visible to other visitors and search engines. Removing content from eBuyCorner does not instantly remove cached copies held elsewhere.

Information may also be disclosed where required by applicable law or necessary to address fraud, abuse, security incidents or legal claims. Data use for an unrelated purpose should be separately explained and handled as required.

9. Retention and security

Retention should be limited to the time needed for the purpose, account or content management, security, required records and resolving disputes. Different records can have different periods: account information, public submissions, correspondence in the team mailboxes, server logs and backups. The owner must confirm and apply the actual retention schedule before publication; there is no automatic deletion timetable implied by this draft.

Access controls, authentication and other safeguards are used to protect information, but no website or transmission method can be guaranteed entirely secure. Email is not a suitable channel for sensitive documents unless a separate secure process has been agreed.

10. Requests about your information

Contact support to ask about access, correction, deletion, withdrawal of an optional permission or another applicable data request. Describe the account or content concerned. We may need proportionate verification before acting and may retain information where a lawful obligation or legitimate unresolved issue requires it. The rights, response requirements and exceptions depend on applicable law; this policy does not remove them.

WordPress export and erasure tools may assist with participating modules, but mailbox records and third-party systems require separate handling. Requests should be checked across the systems actually used.

11. Children and purchases

The portal is intended for general product research and is not designed as a service directed to children. Do not create an account or submit personal information unless you meet the applicable age and authorisation requirements. If you believe a child has supplied information improperly, contact support so it can be reviewed.

Purchases completed at a third-party merchant are subject to that merchant’s privacy, payment, delivery and return practices.

12. Updates and concerns

This notice should be updated when the website’s information practices change. The approved version should state its effective or updated date. Send concerns to support@ebuycorner.com; any rights to approach a competent authority under applicable law remain unaffected.
